Tom’s First English Book

Tom is a young boy who loves to play. One day, his teacher gives him an English book. Tom is excited but also nervous. He has never read an English book before.

Tom opens the book and sees pictures and words. His teacher tells him to read slowly. Tom smiles and starts to read. He learns new words like "apple," "cat," and "house." He feels proud when he finishes the first page.

Every day, Tom reads a little more. He asks his teacher for help with hard words. Soon, Tom can read the whole book by himself. He is very happy and tells his mom, "I can read English now!”
