Anna opened the diary and saw it was written in English. She was curious and wanted to learn what the words meant. Anna first looked up some words in her dictionary and wrote down their meanings.
Every day, Anna read a little more of the diary. She learned new English words. Soon, she could understand simple sentences. Anna was happy because she was learning a new language.
