Once upon a time, there was a parrot named Polly. Polly lived in a big green house with her owner, Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith loved to teach Polly new English phrases every day. Polly was a smart parrot, and she enjoyed learning.
Every morning, Mr. Smith would say, "Good morning!" Polly listened carefully and repeated, "Good morning!" Mr. Smith was very happy and gave Polly a tasty seed. Polly learned many phrases like "How are you?" and "Thank you!" She liked to talk with everyone who visited Mr. Smith's house.
One day, a little girl named Sara came to visit. Polly greeted her with a cheerful "Hello!" Sara was surprised and giggled. She spent the afternoon teaching Polly phrases like "Nice to meet you!" Polly was a quick learner and made many new friends with her English phrases.
