The Ant and the Grasshopper | النملة والجرادة
In a field, a Grasshopper sang and danced all summer long. He spent his days playing, while an Ant worked hard.
في حقل، كانت جرادة تغني وترقص طوال فصل الصيف. قضت أيامها في اللعب، بينما عملت نملة بجد.
The Ant was busy gathering food and storing it for the coming winter. "Why do you work so hard?" asked the Grasshopper.
كانت النملة مشغولة بجمع الطعام وتخزينه لفصل الشتاء القادم. سألت الجرادة: "لماذا تعملين بجد هكذا؟"
"Winter is coming, and there will be no food then," replied the Ant. The Grasshopper laughed and continued to sing.
أجابت النملة: "الشتاء قادم، ولن يكون هناك طعام حينها". ضحكت الجرادة واستمرت في الغناء.
When winter arrived, the Grasshopper found himself cold and hungry. He had no food, while the Ant had plenty.
عندما حل الشتاء، وجدت الجرادة نفسها باردة وجائعة. لم يكن لديها طعام، بينما كان لدى النملة الكثير.
