Polly the Parrot Learns English

Once upon a time, there was a parrot named Polly. Polly lived in a big, green tree in a small village. People loved Polly because she was a friendly bird. Polly wanted to learn to speak like the people in the village.

One day, a kind woman named Sarah brought Polly to her home. Sarah had a lot of books and loved to read aloud. Polly listened carefully and started to learn English phrases. She learned to say, "Hello," "Good morning," and "How are you?" Polly was very happy.

Polly practiced every day. She said "Hello" to everyone she met. The villagers were surprised and delighted when Polly spoke to them. Polly became famous in the village as the parrot who could speak English.
